THE ROLE
Production Associate
Quell is looking for a Production Associate to join the Cell Processing team. The successful candidate will play an important role in supporting the manufacture of novel cell therapy products within a GMP environment for use in clinical trials.
This position offers an excellent opportunity for a talented and motivated technician to contribute to a key part of our work. Quell offers an exciting and highly dynamic environment focused on developing cutting-edge Treg therapies.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work in a collaborative environment under the supervision of senior members of the manufacturing team
- Perform documented processes according to SOPs within a GMP environment
- Assist in the maintenance of a safe and clean workplace that comply with GMP standards e.g. by performing routine cleaning
- Maintenance of raw material stocks
- Record all activities and deviations within the QMS
- Engage in continuous improvement to maintain a high standard of practice
ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of BSc degree in a Biological Science, Biotechnology, Immunology related field
- Excellent organisational skills
- Ability to work co-operatively as part of a team
- Good attention to detail and record keeping
- Demonstratable laboratory experience
DESIRABLE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Knowledge of GMP
- Experience or knowledge of cell culture
